The tabernacle was more than an ancient tent. It was the place where God chose to dwell among His people despite their sins, and every part of it, from the bronze altar to the Ark in the Most Holy Place, points to Jesus Christ and His work of salvation.
On June 9, Good News Detroit Church was grateful to host its first Tabernacle Encounter in the Lincoln Ballroom. Neighbors from across Metro Detroit walked through a life-size exhibit of the tabernacle, watched a reenactment of the Day of Atonement, and heard how the heart of Christ and His work of atonement are hidden in its every detail.
Many discovered the wonder of God's plan and the grace He has prepared for their lives. We thank everyone who came, and every volunteer who gave their time and heart to make this day possible.
"By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." — Hebrews 10:10 (NKJV)
