WHAT WE BELIEVE
Grace Has Done What We Could Never Do
THE WORD
God's Unchanging Word
At Good News Detroit Church, we believe the Bible is the true and unchanging Word of God. Through His Word, we discover who God is, who we are, and the grace He has given us through Jesus Christ.
WHAT THE GOSPEL MEANS
Salvation Is a Gift of Grace
THE CROSS
Jesus Christ Came for Us
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into this world for us. He bore our sins on the cross, shed His blood for our redemption, and rose again from the dead.
BY GRACE ALONE
Not by Our Works
Our salvation does not rest on how good we are, how much we have done, or how worthy we feel. It rests entirely on what Jesus Christ has already accomplished for us.
THE GOOD NEWS
Hope Through His Blood
Through His blood, He obtained eternal redemption, and by God's grace we receive His righteousness as a gift. This is the good news that gives us hope.
"With His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption."
— Hebrews 9:12
